“IBG is a fast-paced work environment with all departments of the company working on the common goal to complete projects on time and on budget. Management is supportive and offer opportunities to grow in your career at Ipswich Bay Glass. The company also offers great benefits as well.”

  • Matthew Chick
  • Project Manager
  • 5 years

“I have been employed at IBG for more than 15 years and have developed both personally and professionally. Management has given me great opportunities to progress and keep abreast of cutting-edge technologies in our industry. It is truly a pleasure to work for one of the premier companies in the region and the team that created the company. I have enjoyed many years here and expect to spend many more.”

  • Charles Moniz
  • Director of Sales of Estimating

“After over 20 years working in a different type of manufacturing, I joined IBG’s engineering department. During my 15 years here, I’ve gained tremendous knowledge working on projects of increasing size and complexity and enjoyed seeing my contribution to the final product. One of my proudest accomplishments was being involved in the production of the 9/11 Memorial at Logan Airport. With the support of department managers and fellow employees, I’ve been able to establish myself as an important part of the IBG team. Plus I have financial security with competitive pay, full medical and dental coverage and 401(k) profit-sharing contributions. IBG is a great place to have a career.”

  • Mark Brindamour
  • Designer
  • 15 years

“There have been so many opportunities for professional growth throughout my employment and I am continuously challenged, learning new things and finding new ways to bring meaning and purpose to what I do. The owners, management and the teams I work directly with are supportive of one another which make the good days great and the tough days easier (especially in recent pandemic years). Working in the construction industry is both challenging and rewarding. I feel fortunate to have established my footing and career path with IBG early on. Yes, you will work harder than you possibly ever have here (the rumor is true) but you are working as part of a team towards a shared goal. The tradeoff is you are compensated fairly, and all that hard work is how routine and stability are maintained companywide during the unpredictable economic ups and downs. To me stability in a company is valuable.”

  • Erin Blacklock
  • Director of Finance & Human Resources
  • 16 years

“Fresh out of school with a degree in architecture, I came to IBG knowing only the basics of design and construction. It was a little overwhelming at first, learning how everything works. But I slowly gained confidence in what I was doing, and one day everything just clicked. From then on, my career took off rapidly! Suddenly I was learning curtainwalls of all shapes and sizes, panel systems, thermal drawings, part design, presentation style, leading drawing sets, improving the use of Revit and the list goes on. BIM has been a huge part of this process. At IBG, I learn something every day, whether it’s a new system, time management, or the confidence in saying no to a detail that doesn’t work. I never would have guessed back in 2013, how successful this job makes me feel. The effort put in is all worth it when you see the finished building in person and say, ‘I did that!’”

  • Adam Nicastro
  • BIM Design Engineer
  • 7 years

“I’ve worked in the construction industry since 2003. In the nine years that I’ve worked for Ipswich Bay Glass, they’ve helped me to find my niche in the industry. We’re a family-owned business with a small business feel and a strong work culture. IBG takes great care of their employees, from our excellent benefits and team building outings to our company picnics. At IBG you’re not a number, you’re a member of a team. An innovative team that makes a consistent effort to stay at the forefront of industry practices where you’ll not only be encouraged and provided with opportunities for professional development but also know that your suggestions for change will be heard and considered.”

  • Megan Leblanc
  • Estimator
